Christmas Day1

Christmas Day started early for us, Because Mum and Dad had to go to work. We were all up at 6am to open our prezzies from santa and other people. Spencer and Tilda got spoilt rotten and so did I!!

Spencer was very lucky he got a bike from Santa and also a Mr. Potato head.

As I said before Kurt spoilt me rotten which I enjoyed. He bought me these beautiful I love Billy shoes. I loved them so much on Christmas day I wore them with my Pjs!!
Melissa put together this beautiful Families are Forever frame for Mum and Dad. They really loved it and it now sits beautifully up on the wall unit. Mum doesn't want to put any other photo's up because she is so proud of it!!

By the end of the day we were all tired and ready for bed. So it was a fairly relaxed day, With lots of wii and outside cricket. Also hanging out as a family. I think every year our family keeps getting bigger and bigger! I wonder what 2010 will bring!

The BAND

I am really glad I married someone that was very musical... A few years a go my husband started a band with a few mates. Kyle as drummer Matty as Bass Ammon as Vocals and Kurt of Lead Guitar. Every Saturday we would go to Kyle's parents house and have "band practice" where we go to catch up with our awesome friends and I got the chance to listen to the boys jam together. Ammon went on his mission and the band fell apart for 2 years. Now we are looking forward to getting back to Queensland so we they can have band practice again. I am actually surprised Spencer is not deaf because he use to sit right in the middle of those practices while I was heavily pregnant.

I think I need to take more pictures of Spencer... He just won't sit still. But I love this one in black and white. She is growing to fast.

Blankets

I can't get over how much my little princess loves to be wrapped up in a blanket. She must really love that feeling as for her brother... HATES being restricted. He hates being under blankets he would be freezing cold and be kicking a his blankets off.. Strange boy he is. But for my Tilly Girl she really enjoys it. I guess it gives her a sense of security.

Loving Summer Heat

I am really glad it's starting to warm up again here in Melbourne. I really hate the cold and the cold hates me. Last winter 08 I was sick for a whole 8 weeks. Which was awful. Than again this winter with being pregnant I was VERY sick again for a whole 8 weeks. SO I cannot stand WINTER. So when the weather comes up and I see 30 degree heat I am not complaining. I embrace it. I love taking Spencer and Tilda outside. Also making sure they are covered head to toe in sunscreen both have there hats. Slip slop slap!

The best thing about the 30 degree heat is the air con and pool. If we did not have it I am sure we would be complaining about the stupid heat.

Now the question is How will I cope next winter... the Simple answer to that... is Move back to Queensland.

We had the chance to go up for Kurt's best mates Ammon's wedding. It was an awesome time and a wonderful sealing. They looked so happy.

My wild 2 year old

At the moment Kurt and I are being fit and when we have free time we take time out take the kids for a walk around Lilydale Lake. After wards we hit the park. Spence has started to really love things like the slide and running around playing with everything possible.
He also loves to climb at the moment. All over people and the lounges.

I can't believe it is a record for Tilly she has now been asleep for 4 hours. Without a feed! WUHOO! She is such a guts she goes from feeding every 2 hours. I have been trying to extend her feeds out. Now she is actually sleeping so good but when she does wake she is feeding for a whole hour!

6 weeks old!!

Missing Kurt again

I know its sad going on how much I miss my husband but with him working 3 jobs and studying I hardly get to see him. Nights seem so lonely without him. Anyway 2 hours until he is home and than I get him all to myself tomorrow. At lease until 8pm tomorrow night.

My baby girl is 5 weeks old today!! Time has gone to quickly... She has changed so much since she was a newborn.

Oh to be Skinny again

When Kurt and I met I thought my weight was perfect. 48 kgs, I was fit and I was healthy.

Now having two kids. I feel a little funny about my weight. I am not happy with it and I really

want to change it. My darling husband is my hero he has lost 16 kgs in the last 10 months.

He was in a size 38 pants and now has dropped to a size 34. Which he hasn't been in since

we have met 4 and a half years ago. So now its time to loose weight and bring back my old

body... well something that was like my old body.

We decided with Matilda's name that we were going to choose something that had a strong meaning behind it. The meaning of Spencer is dispenser. Which is pretty plain and boring. For our little girl we chose the name Matilda. Not because of the book or movie. Just because we thought when she grows up she is going to be a powerful young lady and a loving one. Plus I think its a very strong name. We know its not very famine but we still love it and it suits our little girl.

Jean we decided at last minute. It's a strong family name on both Kurt and mine family and I know the name has a few stories behind it on mine on both my parents side.
