ALRIGHT ADVICE TIME

Now I am a little stressed about this I have to spend 21 hours on the plane with my darling son... who hates being strapped in his car seat! ALSO he isn't to keen on flying either... SO I know some of you have been overseas with kids (Yes I am talking to you Sally and Sarah) I NEED YOUR HELP. so even if you have read my blog in the past and you want to add something PLEASE do so. 21 hours is a VERY long time on the plane.... So HELP ME!

haaaaaaaaaaa yeah I won't lie...21 hrs is pretty long!! do you have a stop over anywhere? Like Singapore...singapore has some little kids play areas...which would be nice...Layne hates been strapped in on a plane as well...so I always got her strapped her in to me at the last possible minute...let her scream out her lungs...she was at an age where she could have lollies (and she loves food) so I would have some handy...it's always abit harder to scream with something in your mouth...the other thing is...feeding them or getting them to suck on their dummies helps with their ears popping and adjusting to the altitude as well...
um...pity he's not 2 yet...or you could try phenergan! But if you find that normally panadol or neurophen helps make him drowsy..then you could try that. The other thing that worked when we went to the states and travelled for 28hrs..(we had 3 different flights to catch and some time in the airports ANNOYING! but worth it!) was I bought Jake 3 new toys and at the beginning of each new plane ride I would bring a new toy out so they would be fascinated with it for a few hours and play with it. So that's another idea.
Other than that...lots of walking up and down the aisles or them watching the movies (if Kurt has a laptop or portable DVD player then take some of Spencer's favourite eg. wiggles or something to play on it because depending on the age the movies on the plane may not hold their interest...and hopefully the trip back he'll be utterly exhausted from the holiday that he will sleep the whole time!! :( So excited for you!! What part of England does his family live in? Make sure you post lots of pictures!
