Matilda's Skin
Before we moved to Queensland in March, Matilda decided to break out in a pretty nasty rash that is all over her chest, arms, back, knee's and sometimes face. The rash/eczema somedays it has its good days and some days it has its bad days. Lately I am feeling that it's not ending. Its not going away. She has never ever had that soft baby skin. We have been to numerous doctors about it, We have tried cream after cream. Creams will work for a week maybe 2 weeks. After that the rash will fight its way back. Its been at a point a few times where its bleed. One doctor we have been to suggested to do nothing about it. Leave it as she grows she will grow out of it. As she is getting bigger. It is getting worse. I am starting to tell that she is getting annoyed by it.

Happy Birthday Chelsea
Nasia
One of my beautiful friends gave birth to a little girl about 10 days ago... Her name is Nasia Joan Cooper. She has been a real big point of our prayers at the moment. It bought home today when Chelsea uploaded this picture on facebook of how little nasia is. She is so tiny. Every time I ask after her all chels says is she is So tiny. So far we have had a HUGE fast and prayer for little nasia and hope she pulls through for her Mum and Dad. We are looking forward to seeing Ammon & Chelsea tomorrow. But in the mean time little Nasia is constantly in our thoughts and our prayers. Nasia was just over 1 pound when she was born and she was 15 weeks early.

Now, mothers, I understand that it sometimes appears that our children aren’t paying attention to the lessons we’re trying to teach them. Believe me—I’ve seen that glazed-over look that comes to the eyes of teenagers just when you’re coming to what you think is the best part of your instruction. Let me assure you that even when you think your daughter is not listening to a thing you say, she is still learning from you as she watches you to see if your actions match your words. As Ralph Waldo Emerson is believed to have said, “What you do speaks so loud that I cannot hear what you say” (see Ralph Keyes, The Quote Verifier [2006], 56).
I love my mother so much and believe I did learn from her on how to be a mother and how she treats her children. She is such a loving supporting mother and always has time for each of her 5 children and 7 grandchildren.
The best thing about my Mum she has taught me how to be a Mother....
Teach your daughters to find joy in nurturing children. This is where their love and talents can have the greatest eternal significance. Consider in this context President Harold B. Lee’s injunction that “the most important . . . work you will ever do will be within the walls of your own homes” (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Harold B. Lee [2000], 134). This is true for all of us, of course, but it is especially powerful when considering the relationship of mothers and daughters
