Christmas Day Part Two

Our Second part of the day was spent by the pool. The day was awesomely warm. It got to about 27 degrees which is okay enough weather to go swimming.

On Christmas day Spencer decided to make friends with a prawn. The story goes I tried to scare Spence with the prawn and I thought he would scare him because they are freaking and I hate there big scary eyes and I dont even eat them... So I thought it was be completely funny if I go into the lounge room and show him what a prawn looks like. Well I was completely wrong!!! He loved him... (Not sure of the sex but I am calling him a boy for now) So we named him prawney and he carried him around for about an hour. He didn't even try to eat prawney.. 

After Spencer was finished playing with prawney he got his hands washed and than at dinner time he enjoyed eating Prawney... So I guess there friendship wasn't that strong.

I thought I would do this blog in parts because I took so many pictures on Christmas Day I thought I should put them all up. Anyway We had a lovely... Morning.

Finally Spencer got the chance to talk to Nanny and we couldn't get him off the phone. 

We had a really nice Christmas and really enjoyed thinking about the saviour and the birth of him. We are very grateful for spending time with family. Spencer got so spoilt that he hasn't even played with all his new toys yet. He got some pretty cool stuff 2! I will have to make a blog about what he got.

1 Embarrassing Moment : Mine is when I had Spencer. After I had the Emergency C-section. My cervix didn't close properly and I ended screaming at the top of my lungs and also swearing at the midwife. I still feel really guilty for swearing at her. But I was in a lot of pain

2 Best Friends - Well... I would have to say my older sisters. Melissa and Kristy. I was very blessed with 2 big sisters to help me and guide me. 

3 things I buy regulary - Nappies, Juice and Chocolate 

4 Places I want to go - back to England, Ireland, Scotland and NZ

5 Goals for the upcoming year - Kurt to get into Uni, Me getting into a course, Spencer starting Nursery, Go back to QLD for a visit and visit sydney/newcastle.

6 things people don't know about me - I love scrubs, my favorite movie is defiantly maybe. I eat way to much chocolate, I can't stand seafood, I love my camera, I love my family and I LOVE TWILIGHT

How to eat a Lollypop

If Spencer is a very good boy I let him have a starburst lollypop. He loves them.. Everytime he eats one he says over and over stickey stickey stickey! I thought these pictures were cute...

Birthday Wishes

Would like to wish my future sister in law Kim a very Happy Birthday. She turned the big 20.

I just thought I would let everyone know I am not having a very good day

For the last week at home I have not done much, due to a new set of books that I am reading thanks to Lissa. I think I must be the last person to actually starting reading the fantastic books by Stephenie Meyer. Now if you have not read Twilight you are truly missing out! I am now on to the 2nd book New Moon and I will tell you it has not left my side for the last 4 days! I read Twilight in 3 days this one I decided to take a little longer in reading it. Although today I covered up to 12 Chapters as I went out yesterday (more on that later). I remember thinking at one stage I looked up and the clock was 1:15 than I looked up about it was 3:30. I was thinking Oh no I still have to do the dishes from last night dinner!! But I got them done. Anyway if you have not read the books yet they are going really cheap at big w and join the twilight madness!

Sickness

For the last 2 months, We have been SO sick. From the start of a cold to having chest infections, To Spencer having coughing fits and throwing up on me. The list goes on! I really hope the sickness has ended. I now feel that Spencer will never loose his snotty nose. Kurt and I will never loose the cough. The pain down my left side where I cracked a rib from coughin way to much is slowly disapearing. So I am starting to pray and wish so hard that is all just disapears. I pray that my parents flu and my brothers flu keeps to it self. It's been a hard 2 months of sickness. On top of this Kurt has had really bad Hay Fever because of our cats.
Lets pray the sickness stays away for a long time.

Our Melbourne Cup was really nice, We didn't get up to much, We had some really nice quiet moments. 

Cary's 30th

Yesterday we had the chance to go to Cary's 30th Birthday Party. We had a fantastic day and everyone enjoyed the fantastic BBQ that my older sister put on. Thanks heaps to Melissa and Cary for such a wonderful day.

I Love Apple Mac

I just thought I would share our good news with everyone. We have finally got our own computer! We got our first Apple Imac. We are very excited and still getting use to using it. One good thing is Spencer hasn't even given it a thought to touch it...(touch wood) Anyway now I can upload my photos more... 

Congrats to my Aunty Donna and Uncle Andrew for having a baby girl early this morning I hope you are all doing well!!

More Birthday Wishes

I would like to wish my niece Lisey a happy birthday for Saturday. She is such a good girl and I love her to bits. She is such a good big cousin to Spencer she is always watching out for him.

Also I would like to wish my biggest brother James a very happy birthday for yesterday... He is a great guy and a great example for Spencer.

Happy Birthday Robbie

I always complain that October is the worst month and think than it's non stop birthday month. Today it's my big brother Robbie's birthday. He is a great big brother at times and other times he really drives me crazy! Anyway I just wanted to wish Robbie a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY and 22 is not that old really.....

Spencer Aunty Kim and Uncle Robbie I think it's during summer because they are looking very tanned plus my son has no clothes on.

While we were in England I got the chance to get a new camera.. Well it's not really new, It's a used one. But a very good used one. I really love my new camera and learning how to use it different ways more I use it. I am getting more confident in the photos I take.

I thought I would do a before and after shot of my old camera and my new camera I can really spot the diffence. But maybe it's just me...
Before I was using a Canon Powershot A400, Very simple hand held camera... But the zoom died on me.

NOW I am using a Canon Powershot G3, I think really it's my new best friend.. Because even though it's bulky it still goes everywhere I go.

Bring on Summer

Melbourne has been having some really nice days lately and we thought today was going to be a little crappy. By the time Spencer had woken up from his nap the sun was shining which meant outside time. Spencer has a huge love for water. He loves his baths and LOVES the pool. Today when my Mum was cleaning the pool Spencer just didn't understand why he couldn't come in and splash and give her a hand... HE tried everything!!

My gorgeous little man... Letting me know he has snot all over his face. I now know why Aunty Kim calls him snot face.

Tintagel Castle

I know I haven't posted for ages about the england trip, So I thought it is about time I blog about something. I can't remember what day I was up to so I just thought I would blog about our next big event while being there. We got the chance to cross the bridge into a lovely weird place called Cornwell, Where people speak a little differnt. We got the chance to go to Tintagel Castle.
Tintagel Castle is meant to be the place where King Athur was born... I really enjoyed this castle

A cool thing

One thing I loved about this castle is that it has 2 really cool water holes. I did get photos of it but sadly they did not turn out.

The stupid steps we had to walk up... This place is not ideal to take a one year old. Thank goodness my husband is strong and held him the whole time.
